Southwest Bullets Hosting Midget All-Star Game

The Southwest Bullets will host the annual Shamrock League Minor and Major Midget All-Star game December 16 in Glencoe.

The Southwest organization is the amalgamation of Bothwell and Glencoe’s minor hockey systems.

The Minor Midget game, which will take place at 5pm, and the Major Midget game, which gets underway at 7pm, will feature several local players from various organizations.

In the major midget game, Myles Fraser (Southwest Bullets), Robbie Black (Southwest Bullets), Sebastian Graham (Southwest Bullets), Zander Wright (Dresden Jr. Kings), Scott Glasgow (Dresden Jr. Kings), Konnor Vanheese (South Kent Lightning), and Brian Gaevert (South Kent Lightning) will compete. As well, Southwest head coach Calvin Ritchie will be behind the bench for the South Division.

The Minor Midget game features Magnum Fodor (Southwest Bullets), Ethan Carruthers (Southwest Bullets), Brent Nevills (Dresden Jr. Kings), Tyler Eliis (Dresden Jr. Kings), Connor Ellis (Dresden Jr. Kings), Shawn Glover-Noah (South Kent Lightning), and Wade McNear (South Kent Lightning).

Admission for the games is $4 or two non-perishable food items.
