The Leamington Flyers have acquired a big piece to their playoff push, adding veteran OHL defenseman Levi Tetrault.

Tetrault, a Pain Court resident, had 16 points in 30 games this season for the GOJHL’s Brantford 99ers.

The 6’1″ defenseman spent the last two seasons with the OHL’s Guelph Storm, appearing in 103 OHL games.

A 4th round selection of the Guelph Storm in 2014 after captaining the Chatham-Kent Cyclones ‘AAA’ team, Tetrault spent a season with the Junior B Chatham Maroons before moving to the OHL.

Leamington currently sits in second place in the GOJHL’s Western Conference behind the London Nationals.

Leamington has lost in the Western Conference final in two straight seasons.
