Maroons Add Depth At D
The sixth place Chatham Maroons are adding some defensive depth as they creep closer to an uncertain playoff experience.
The Maroons have acquired 20-year-old blueliner Ryan Sarris, formerly of the LaSalle Vipers.
The 6’0″, 174-pound d-man was a third round pick of the OHL’s Mississauga Ice Dogs in 2013.
Sarris registered 12 points in 27 games with the Vipers split between 2015-16 and 2016-17.
With 15 regular season games left on the schedule, the Maroons are back in action Friday on the road in St Thomas. Chatham returns home to Memorial Arena on Sunday to host Komoka.
