The Blenheim Blades find themselves in a 2-0 hole after losing game two of their best-of-seven PJHL Stobbs Division playoff series against the Lakeshore Canadiens.

Playing at home Thursday night, the Blades fell 4-2 to the top ranked Canadiens.

Captain Dede Cato got Blenheim on the board first, scoring a power play marker in the first period with assists going to Bryce Broad and John Montgomery.

Lakeshore however didn’t let the lead hold long. As the second frame got underway, Lakeshore scored a pair of goals.

Blenheim would knot things at 2-2 before the period ended on their second power play goal of the game, this time coming from Ryan Malott, with Brayden Seliga and Christian Moccia assisting.

Lakeshore, who outshot Blenheim 40-23, would add a goal, and an empty netter in the third.

Eric Stewardson made 37 saves in goal for the Blades.

Game 3 is scheduled for tonight in Lakeshore at 8:30pm (weather permitting).
