Lancers, Panthers Win LKSSAA Titles

The UCC Lancers edged Sarnia St. Patrick’s in a thrilling 5-set match 20-25, 25-17, 22-25, 25-15, and 15-13.
UCC’s win gave the school back-to-back LKSSAA ‘AAA’ championships.
At the senior ‘A’ level, the John McGregor Panthers beat the Blenheim Bobcats 26-24, 25-18, 25-10.
This is John McGregor’s first year as an ‘A’ school after moving down a category due to school population. Blenheim had won the LKSSAA ‘A’ title last year.
At the Junior girls level, the WDSS Tartans won a LKSSAA crown in Petrolia, winning a back and forth 5-set match 25-17, 19-25, 25-20, 23-25, 15-11.
