Pool Sharks Rock the Regionals

The Chatham Pool Sharks earned over half a dozen medals at this Western Ontario Regional Short Course championships. 

Thirteen swimmers took part in the meet in London, the first for many of the younger team members.

In all, the team came away with 20 top-eight finishes and eight medals.

Alex Thiel earned gold in the 200 fly and silver in the 800 free, along with making his first Festival time cut, qualifying him to attend an upcoming championship meet in eastern Ontario.

Madeleine Tran came home with four medals, including two silver  in the 400 IM and 100 free and two bronze for the 50 free and 200 fly.

Austin Adams won a pair of bronze medals in the 100 and 200 freestyle.
