How Sweep It Is, Kings On To Round Two

Dresden will now face the reigning champion Essex 73s in round two.
Monday night, Brantley Kuipers played hero, ending the game in a 3-2 Dresden victory, scoring 11 seconds into the second overtime frame.
Kevin Ritzer had the other two Dresden Kings goals.
Brendan Johnston was spectacular in net for the Kings, in what turned out to be a goaltending dual. He made 48 saves in the victory, while Wheatley goalie Catalin Morin made 54 saves in the loss.
