The Chatham Outlaws Bantam A hockey team won the Lower Lakes Hockey League Championship Weekend in Toronto this past weekend.

The Outlaws qualified for the tournament by defeating Sarnia, St Thomas, and London in consecutive playoff series’ after finishing first during the regular season.

At the Lower Lakes tournament, Chatham dropped their first game 2-1 to Brampton, before winning their next three 2-1 against Aurora, 2-1 versus Mississauga, and 5-2 over Clarington.

In the final, Chatham again faced Brampton, this time needing overtime in the 4-3 championship win.
