Carleton Named AP All-American Honourable Mention

Bridget Carleton of Chatham was named an honourable mention All-American by the Associated Press Monday.

The Iowa State Cyclones junior, is only the 9th All-American in the school’s women’s basketball history.

Carleton, who also represented Team Canada’s women’s National team this year, topped all Iowa State scorers this season averaging 19.2 points-per game.

The John McGregor Secondary School alumni and former Dr. Jack Parry Award winner also averaged 6.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.2 steals per game.

Next season, Carleton will enter her Senior season with Iowa State.
