The Dresden Kings didn’t win it all, but they’re calling their 2017-2018 PJHL Stobbs Division season a success. The organization was happy enough with their performance, which included going six games into the league semi-finals, that they’ve announced they’ll be bringing back their coaching staff and general manager for the 2018-2019 season.

“The Dresden Kings would like to announce, following a highly successful season on the ice, that General Manager Jason Badder, Head Coach Rob Vanderydt and assistants Bill Nicholson, Tom Van Eerd and Burke Daugherty will all be returning for the 2018-2019 season,” Dresden’s statement said.

“The Kings would also like to thank their fans that supported the team at home and on the road this season, we will see you in September.”

The Dresden Jr Kings finished second in the PJHL Stobbs Division with a 27-9-1-3 record, only one point behind first place Lakeshore.

They were eliminated from the playoffs by the reigning champion Essex 73s.
