Maroons Get First Playoff Win

The Chatham Maroons fell behind 2-0 in their series to the LaSalle Vipers after a pair of overtime losses, but bounced back Saturday defeating LaSalle 2-1.

Ryan Wagner was solid in net making 26 saves in the win.

Dakota Bohn opened the scoring for Chatham in the first period, connecting on the power play with assists going to Dane Johnston and Josh King.

In the second period Josh Supryka scored, assisted by Thomas Michaud and Dawson Garcia to put Chatham ahead 2-0 heading into the third.

LaSalle would pull within one, but the Maroons would hold on.

Game 4 is tonight (Sunday) at Memorial Arena. Puck drop is 7pm. Game 5 is Wednesday in LaSalle.
