Segeren Wins Provincial Silver

Maddison Segeren competed at the Ontario Winter Games in Orillia this weekend, taking home a silver medal in wrestling.

Segeren, a UCC student, qualified in December by winning the London Invitational High School wrestling tournament.

At the Ontario Winter Games, representing Southwestern Ontario, Segeren pinned two opponents for wins, finishing in a tie for silver.

However, because she had scored the most points in her matches, Segeren was awarded the silver.
