The Chatham Bantam A Outlaws won silver at the OWHA Provincial Championships held in Toronto April 6-8. The Outlaws qualified to represent Southwestern Ontario in the 24 team tournament by going undefeated in their playdown series’ with Windsor, Lakeshore and Sarnia.

On Friday, the Outlaws faced Cambridge and came away with a 2-0 victory (Kayla Renaud with the shutout) before defeating Gloucester-Cumberland 7-1. Chatham blanked Barrie 3-0 (Kayla Renaud recorded the shutout) in their final round robin game Saturday morning.

With a 2-1 quarter finals victory over Durham West, the girls advanced to the semi-final where they beat Flamborough 5-0 (Hayley Doucet with the shutout).

The final was a rematch of the LLFHL Championship with Brampton. This time, Brampton came away on top winning 2-1.
