Brodie’s NHL Season Ends On Sideline
The 2017-2018 NHL season didn’t go as planned for Dresden’s TJ Brodie.
After a few rocky patches on the ice, which included some trade rumours, Brodie’s season with the Calgary Flames ended with him on the sideline, missing almost a month with an upper-body injury.
Brodie suffered what turned out to be a season ending injury on March 18, during a 4-0 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights.
The 27-year-old blueliner had 4 goals and 32 points in 73 games for the Flames prior to his injury.
Calgary failed to make the postseason after being swept last year in the opening round.
