The Wellington Dukes are only two wins away from a Buckland Cup Championship as the OJHL’s top team, and much of that seems thanks to the Chatham Maroons.

Maroons forward Bryce Yetman scored a hat trick in game two of the OJHL final against the Georgetown Raiders, a 6-1 decision.

Through 10 playoff games since joining the Dukes, Yetman has 10 goals and 12 points. He leads the Dukes in goals, despite the fact the Dukes have played 21 games.

A former OHLer, Yetman has spent the past two seasons with the Chatham Maroons, notching 131 points in 102 regular season and playoff games in a Maroons jersey.

Also scoring for the Wellington Dukes in their 6-1 win, was another former Chatham Maroons forward, Teddy McGeen. McGeen is second on the Dukes in postseason scoring with 16 points in 21 games.

Another Maroon from this season, Josh Supryka, picked up an assist in the win.

Game 3 is tonight at 7:30, while game 4 is Thursday.
