Chatham Maroons Name Kyle Makaric New Head Coach

The Chatham Maroons would like to announce Kyle Makaric as Head Coach for the 2018-19 season.
Kyle Makaric most recently was the Assistant Coach of the University of Windsor Lancers in the 2017-18 season.

Makaric was instrumental in rebuilding a Windsor ‘AAA’ Major Midget program into being a respected program across the province, as head coach from 2013 to 2017, capped off by an Alliance Championship in 2017.

Makaric also was an Assistant Coach with the Ontario Under 17 program in 2017

Kyle is a former Maroon playing from 2006-2010, and then a Member of the Windsor Lancers from 2011-2013.

Kyle brings an eye to detail and a wealth of knowledge of player and team development, that the Maroons organization feel will benefit the team going forward.

The Maroons organization would like to congratulate Kyle on his appointment.

The current Maroons Staff, Brett Hope, Ryan Hope, Bino Pereira, and Derek Hills will all be retained, along with the addition of Andrew Donaldson.
