Durston Voted Bandits’ Offensive Player of the Year
Wallaceburg’s Jordan Durston has been voted by his Buffalo Bandits teammates as co-winner of their 2017-2018 Offensive Player of the Year award.
Durston, a Wallaceburg Red Devils alumni, scored 24 goals and 65 points in 18 games.
This is Durston’s third season playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). He spent his first two NLL seasons playing with Vancouver.
Durston wrapped up his campaign Saturday night scoring 2 goals and 5 points in a 15-13 loss to Rochester.
The Offensive Player of the Year honour was shared with Buffalo Bandits leading scorer Dhane Smith. Smith had 37 goals and 105 points in 18 games, which placed him third in league scoring.
