Cam Creechan Named To Team Ontario

Chatham’s Cam Creechan has been named to Team Ontario for the Football Canada Cup this summer.

Creechan was selected after a strong performance at the Red-Black game held at the University of Guelph. Creechan was one of 90 U18 football prospects from across Ontario vying for the 40 roster spots.

Creechan, a 17-year-old kicker who plays for the UCC Lancers, hit a field goal attempt, two conversions, and punted successfully in the Red-Black Game.

The Chatham-Kent Cougars alumni will compete this summer for the Essex Ravens Varsity program.

Team Ontario and Creechan will compete in the Football Canada Cup from July 15-22 in Calgary, Alberta. They’ll open the event playing Nova Scotia at 1pm on July 16.
