Flames Burn Bright At OCSSAA Badminton Championships

The Chatham Christian Flames burned bright at the Ontario Christian Secondary School Athletic Association badminton championships recently.

The tournament, held at Brock University, featured 19 of the 20 OCSSAA member schools. OCSSAA hosts

Several Chatham Christian athletes won medals in the event, including Erica Bultje (Senior Girls’ singles), Dean Koomans and Nate Koomans (Senior Boys’ doubles), and Connor VanMinnen (Junior Boys’ singles) who all were gold medal winners in B-flight.

Winning silver medal in the B-flight were Rachel Bos and Natalie Koomans (Junior Girls’ doubles) and Avery Koomans and Jakob Taylor (Junior Mixed).
