The Kent Havoc faced a tough test on the opening day of their Niagara Rugby Union season. In fact, Norfolk hadn’t lost in the past three seasons.

That changed Saturday in Chatham as the Kent Havoc defeated the Norfolk Harvesters 46-31.

Rhys Higgens led the way for the Havoc, scoring three tries.

Also scoring tries for the Havoc were Tristan Robinet, Tyler Gawley, Blayne Bechard, and Lucas Moccia.

Craig Arnel kicked two conversions, while Gawley kicked one.

The Havoc will travel to play the Stratford Blackswans on June 2.

The next home match for the Kent Havoc is June 16 against the Wilmot Warthogs. Kick off is at 1:30pm at the old CCI Football Field at 215 Murray Street in Chatham.
