Lancers Topple Irish In LKSSAA Senior Rugby

The UCC Lancers senior girls rugby moved to 2-0 in the LKSSAA standings with a convincing win over the St. Patrick’s Irish.

UCC won 53-0, with Britney Goodhand scoring three tries, and Maddison Segeren scoring two.

Single tries were scored by Pyper Copeland, Selena Bushey, Savannah Emmott, and Natasha Smids. Smids also kicked four converts for the UCC Lancers rugby team.

Maids of the match were Isabelle Rossi for Sarnia St. Pats and Maddy Shakespeare for UCC.

The UCC Lancers junior rugby team also faced St. Patrick’s, falling 20-10. UCC received tried from Brianna Dedecker and Victoria Armstrong.
