McPherson, Gorski, Isaac Invited To Canada U18 Camp
This camp is the first step in Canada’s National Women’s Program, and is an evaluation opportunity for players in contention to make Canada’s U18 National Team. The camp gets underway July 17.
McPherson, a 2002 birth year goalie from Chatham, played this season for the Cambridge Rivulettes of the PWHL. A Chatham Outlaws and Chatham-Kent Cyclones alumni, McPerson was the youngest member of her team, helping them to the PWHL’s Final Four. She finished in the top 10 in PWHL goaltending statistics, with a 1.48 GAA, .935 save percentage, and 3 shutouts in 20 games played. McPherson is committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Vermont in 2020.
Gorski, a 2001 goalie from Wallaceburg, has spent the past two seasons with the PWHL’s Barrie Jr. Sharks. She finished the year with a 1.70 GAA, .935 save percentage, and 5 shutouts. Gorski is also a Chatham Outlaws alumni. She will play for Kingston in the PWHL this season. Gorski is committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Merrimack in 2019.
Isaac, another 2001 Wallaceburg product, finished second on the Bluewater Hawks in scoring this season, as a defender. She had 22 points in 36 games in her second PWHL season. She will play for Etobicoke of the PWHL next season, and is committed to play NCAA Division I hockey for Cornell in 2019.
