Nicholas Helps Canada To Fifth Place Finish

Blenheim’s Breanne Nicholas and Team Canada’s Rugby 7s team took fifth place at the HSBC World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series 2018 in Langford, British Columbia.

Canada narrowly missed out on playing for a medal, falling to the USA 28-26 Sunday morning.

Canada then faced England in the 5th place semi-final match, and came out on top with a 35-12 win.

Nicholas and Canada closed out the tournament defeating Ireland 29-12 to finish 5th.

Nicholas finished 4th on Canada in scoring throughout the tournament, racking up 55 points, including 7 tries and 10 conversions.
