2nd Annual Robb Vincent Memorial Tournament Today In Chatham
The 2nd annual Robb Vincent Memorial Baseball Tournament will take place today in Chatham.
Robb Vincent was involved with the CMBA for over 27 years. Vincent coached house league and travel baseball as well as convening for both Jaycee Park and Kinsmen Park.
Vincent loved teaching the kids how to play and have lots of fun playing, and always made sure every kid had an equal opportunity to play no matter their skill level.
In 2016 Robb Vincent had a very short battle with cancer and passed away. He coached up to 2 weeks before he passed.
Last year, the first ever tournament in his namesake raised $1630 for Chatham Minor Baseball Association.
This years event will feature a 50/50 Draw (Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10), 10 Different raffle baskets valued between $155-$500 (Tickets are $2 each), and 9 sets of Detroit Tigers tickets (Tickets are $1 each, this is only open to the players at Jaycee Park ONLY).
As well a charity BBQ will have hot dogs, water, and Gatorade available for sale.
Also, Bill Atkinson will be on site signing autographs as well.
All proceeds raised goes directly back to the CMBA.
