Maroons Acquire Veteran Netminder Tristan Lewis

The Chatham Maroons have solidified their crease, announcing the acquisition of veteran netminder Tristan Lewis from the St. Marys Lincolns.

“We have been interested in Tristan since last year‘s trade deadline and coming into this season he was our number one target as our veteran goaltender,” said Maroons assistant general manager Kevin Fisher of the acquisition.

Last season, Lewis appeared in 25 games for the Lincolns, compiling a 6-17-0 record, with a 4.12 GAA and .829 save percentage.

It was Lewis’ third campaign of Junior B hockey, playing in St. Mary’s in 2016-2017 as well, and suiting up for Brantford in 2015-2016.

Prior to that, the 1998 born goalie from Port Elgin, Ontario payed Junior C for the Walkerton Hawks, and is an alumni of the Grey-Bruce ‘AAA’ system.
