Former Chatham Maroons forward Devin Panzeca will play NCAA Division III hockey next season for the SUNY Potsdam.

Panzeca had an incredible offensive season in the EHL with the East Coast Wizards, scoring 43 goals and 93 points in only 43 regular season games, before adding 6 points in 4 playoff games. He also played a handful of games for the NAHL’s Amarillo Bulls.

“Devin is a very talented hockey player,” East Coast Wizards head coach and general manager Freddy Meyer said in a team news release. “He got better and better as the year went on with us, and he is going to be incredibly difficult to replace. I am confident that Devin will only continue to develop when he gets to Potsdam. He’s got a true scoring touch, and I can’t wait to follow him throughout his collegiate career.”

Panzeca played two part seasons for the Chatham Maroons in 2015-2016, and 2016-2017.

From Lake Zuich, Illinois, Panzeca’s totals, and his 2.16 points per game mark was an EHL record this season.
