Ly Wins Ontario Junior Girls Title At Maple City

Jasmine Ly of Kingsville Golf & Country was the winner at the 2018 Ontario Junior Girls Golf Championships hosted at Maple City Golf & Country Club in Chatham, Ontario.

“I worked really hard this entire year to get these last rounds, the harder ones,” Jasmine Ly said in a Golf Association of Ontario news release after going She 72-70-74-72 to win the championship with a total of 288.

Chatham’s Brooke MacKinnon, a member at Maple City who plays NCAA golf for the University of Hartford finished 9th with a total of 302.

Tilbury’s Hailey Katona was 11th shooting 304.

Tess Scaman, another Maple City member was 43rd, shooting 346.
