MacKinnon Opens Ontario Championship Strong

Brooke MacKinnon opened the 2018 Ontario Junior Girls Golf Championships strong this week with a stellar round on her home course.

Being hosted at Maple City Golf & Country Club in Chatham, MacKinnon shot an even par 72, highlighted by going one under on the back nine, two sit in second.

She trails Strathroy’s Taylor Kehoe by two strokes.

MacKinnon plays NCAA Division I Golf for the University of Hartford.

Tilbury’s Hailey Katona was tied for 12th after shooting a 76.
