Maroons’ Fowler Headed For Sweden

Chatham Maroons forward Steven Fowler will head across the Atlantic next season to play professional hockey in Sweden.

Fowler has signed to play in the Division 2 league with Umea.

Last season with the Chatham Maroons, the Oxford, Michigan product scored 30 goals and 49 points in 48 games.

He also has Junior A playing experience in the CCHL and MJAHL.

The Division 2 league in Sweden is the same league that other locals, Kier Cumming and Brayden Hopkins played in last season.
