Ainsworth, MacKinnon Win Provincial Gold

Ainsworth and MacKinnon went 2-2 in pool play in the 16U division.
After a slow start, the team went a perfect 4-0 Sunday in the playoffs to win the gold.
In the round of 16, they won 21-10, 21-8, before knocking off the tournament’s #1 seed, Recagno and Witcher-Dowling 21-19, 21-14 in the quarterfinals.
In the semis, Ainsworth and MacKinnon won 22-20 and 21-9, before taking the gold medal match 21-18, 14-21, 15-7.
