Ian Smart Becomes A Saint
Smart spent the last two seasons with the Western University Mustangs. Last year Smart appeared in all 20 games for Western, averaging 22.4 minutes per game, 8.2 points per game, and 3.7 rebounds per game.
“Ian adds a veteran presence to the roster. He will make an impact on both ends of the floor and be a key leader for our team,” said St. Clair coach Brendon Seguin in a school news release.
Smart, who was one of six players recruited for next season, is joining his third post-secondary school, as he initially committed to play for the University of Windsor after an MVP senior season in high school, later transferring to Western.
Smart will study in the Woodworking Technician program at St. Clair College.
