Lakers Forced To Postpone This Weekend’s Main Camp Due To Ice Conditions

The Wallaceburg Lakers received notification at 10:00pm on Friday night, that the ice would not be accessible to the team and their prospects at Walpole Island Arena for Saturday’s start to main camp, forcing the team to postpone their camp.

Wallaceburg planned to run training camp Saturday and Sunday at Walpole Island, but were forced to cancel last minute due to ice conditions.

The Lakers would like anyone with concerns to call assistant general manager and team president Darryl Lucio at (519)365-4615. The team hopes to have new dates and times scheduled for their camp and released Monday or Tuesday.
