Lakers Win Preseason Opener Against Lambeth
The Wallaceburg Lakers opened their early preseason with a 3-2 win Saturday in Komoka against the Lambeth Lancers.
Myles Fraser had a goal and an assist in the win for the Lakers.
Camden Pomerleau and Brandon Gray had the other Wallaceburg goals, while Ben Brooks, Spencer Chatel, Konner Van Hesch, and Ryley Drummond had helpers.
Patrick Timpany took the win in net for the Lakers.
The game was played only days after the Wallaceburg Lakers named a new coaching staff and GM headed by Ken Shine, with assistants Bob McNear and Ryan Paxton.
