Hasselborg, Gushue Win Chatham’s Grand Slam of Curling Event

Team Hasselborg and Team Gushue were the winners after a week of competition at the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling Elite 10 event in Chatham, Ontario.

Anna Hasselborg of Sweden won the first Princess Auto Elite 10 women’s championship of the season beating after Silvana Tirinzoni of Switzerland 4-and-2 in six ends.

Team Hasselborg, the reigning Olympic gold medallist from Pyeongchang, was a perfect 6-0 through the week, claiming $32,000 in prize money.

Team Gushue, skipped by Olympic gold medallist and World Champion Brad Gushue, defeated Team Carruthers on the men’s side 1-up.
