Sharks Stop Blades, Win In OT

The Wheatley Sharks held off the Blenheim Blades for a 5-4 overtime win in PJHL Stobbs division preseason action Wednesday.

Carter Comeau scored the overtime winner for the Sharks, who led 3-1 heading into the third period, but watched the Blenheim Blades fight back to tie the game.

Ernie Godden had a pair of goals for the Wheatley Sharks, while Jace Leach and Parker Boyle also scored.

Hitting the scoresheet for the Blenheim Blades were Keegan MacVoy, Nick Delyzer, Cam Symons, and Drew Marlatt.

In other Junior C news, the Dresden Kings beat the Petrolia Flyers 6-4, while the Wallaceburg Lakers fell in overtime 5-4 to the Port Stanley Sailors.
