Strathroy Rockets Acquire Lucas Fancy

Chatham’s Lucas Fancy has been acquired by the GOJHL’s Strathroy Rockets after signing with the Chatham Maroons earlier this summer.

One of the Maroons’ earliest acquisitions this offseason, the 17-year-old forward was acquired by Strathroy Thursday.

Fancy was the PJHL Stobbs Division runner-up for rookie of the year last season while playing for the Blenheim Blades and collecting 15 goals and 33 points in only 34 games.

The long time member of the Chatham-Kent Cyclones ‘AAA’ organization appeared in three preseason games for Chatham, scoring a goal and an assist.
