Lakers Edged In Overtime

It looked like the Wallaceburg Lakers might be earning their first win of the 2018-2019 PJHL Stobbs Division season, but the Petrolia Flyers had other plans, edging the Lakers 3-2 in overtime.

Wallaceburg led after one period on a goal by Jeff Williams.

The Lakers also held a 2-1 lead with less than ten minutes to play in the third after Same Haight scored to put his team ahead.

Petrolia however, tied the game with roughly five and a half minutes to go, and took the win in overtime.

The loss drops Wallaceburg to 0-10-0-2 on the season.
