Maroons Down Sarnia In Double OT

The Chatham Maroons took the full time available to put up a Thanksgiving win over the Sarnia Legionnaires, edging Sarnia with a 4-3 decision in double overtime.

In regulation, Cameron Welch, Zach Power, and Kyle Fisher each scored a goal for Chatham.

Former Dresden Kings forward Isaac McLean had a goal and an assist for Sarnia, while Wallaceburg’s Alec DeKoning had two assists.

With the game tied 3-3, Dakota Bohn ended it in overtime to give Chatham the win.

Chatham currently sits in 4th place in the GOJHL’s Western Conference with a 4-1-0-2 record, and two games in hand on 3rd place Leamington, and a game in hand on second place Sarnia, who both sit only one point ahead of Chatham.
