NHL Alumni Game Raises $11,000
Chatham’s 20th annual NHL Alumni game featured a large crowd and large benefits for the Special Olympics.
The game raised approximately $11,000 as fans watched watched NHL alumni face off against local law enforcement officers.
“It looks like we were just shy of $11,000 dollars that we raised which brings our year to date total, and this being our final event of the 2018 season to just over $30.000 dollars we raised for Special Olympics Ontario,” Chatham-Kent Constable Jason Herder told CKXS 99.1.
In addition to the Special Olympics, the money raised will also support the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
