Sharks Beat Lakers On The Road

The Wheatley Sharks edged the Wallaceburg Lakers for a 2-1 road win Wednesday night on the road in Wallaceburg.

Jordan Paquette opened the scoring in the first with the lone assist going to Evan Prince.

Josh Remsik responded for Wallaceburg with helpers from Brian Gevaert and Cody Nicolaisen in the second to tie things up.

Midway through the third however, Carter Comeau scored the powerplay winner from Cole Butler and Ernie Godden.

The win improved Wheatley’s record to 8-7-0-0 while keeping Wallaceburg winless at 0-14-0-2.
