Blades Beat Kings In Front of Huge Hometown Hockey Crowd

The Blenheim Blades beat the Dresden Kings in front of a huge Hometown Hockey crowd at Ken Houston Memorial Agricultural Centre.

Part of the crowd was Rogers Hometown Hockey hosts Ron MacLean and Tara Sloan.

The Blades took an 8-3 win before 850 fans.

Dede Cato had two goals and two assists in the win.

Kier Cumming had a goal and four assists, and Drew Marlatt had a goal and two assists.

Derek Hueni has four assists, while Connor Wright, Cam Symons, Seth Henderson, and Ryan Mallot had the other Blenheim goals.

Scoring for the Dresden Kings were Nolan Vandenboorn with two, and Greg Hay with his first as a King.
