Grant Spence With New OJHL Team
Chatham’s Grant Spence is with a new OJHL team after he was traded from the North York Rangers to the Georgetown Raiders.
Spence was acquired for 20-year-old veteran Jonathan Hampton.
Through 29 games with the North York Rangers as an OJHL rookie, Spence had 6 goals and 16 points.
Following his trade this week, Spence notched his first goal and assist in 3 games with the Georgetown Raiders.
Last season as a Junior hockey rookie, Spence had 18 goals and 41 points in 50 games for the Chatham Maroons.
The trade is a reverse of current North York Rangers forward and Chatham product Ross Krieger, who was traded from Georgetown to North York in the 2016-2017 season.
