Making Waves in Scarborough

The Chatham Pool Sharks brought home some hardware from a recent tournament in Scarborough. 

Wallaceburg’s Madison Broad won gold in the 50 back, 100 back, and 200 back at the Swim Ontario’s Junior International meet.

Genevieve Sasseville won gold in the 200 fly and took silver in the 50 and 100 fly.

Pool Sharks officials say David Tran and Madeline Tran also qualified for the meet and swam personal bests.

The Junior International meet is the final short-course competition of the season. The swimmers will now turn their attention to the 50-metre long course season.
