Wallaceburg Hall Names Annual Inductees
Recently, the Wallaceburg Hall named their annual inductees.
Port Lambton’s Brendan Seys will be recognized as Athlete of the Year. He currently golfs at Wayne State University, and was the 2017 CKSN Chatham-Kent Male Athlete of the Year. Seys won three NCAA tournaments last season and was a conference all-star.
Kyle Dawson and Cory Lucier won the Outstanding Achievement Award. The duo are both stars for the Wallaceburg Red Devils, and are key contributors for their Junior hockey teams.
Dawson represented Team Canada at the World Junior Indoor Lacrosse Championships, winning gold, and captains the GOJHL’s London Nationals. He was the leading scorer for the Wallaceburg Red Devils.
Lucier was the Wallaceburg Red Devils MVP, and is captain of the PJHL’s Dresden Kings.
The trio of Bronson Bea, Lee Salisbury, and Megan Seed were recognized as Coaches of the Year. All three helped their respective teams win Ontario Lacrosse titles.
Builder of the Year went to Brad Eggett, while the Ray Aarssen/Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship was given to Chloe Lucier.
