Double Gold (And A Silver) For The Ballhawks

The 17UGirls won gold in Burlington at the OVA Championship A McGregor Cup.
They finished the tournament with an Overall Record of 10-1.
In pool play the Chatham Ballhawks took wins 2-0 versus South County 16U [Windsor], and 2-1 against Phoenix Surge [Toronto].
In the quarter finals Chatham won 2-0 against Niagara Fury. Chatham then won 2-0 in the semi-finals facing Niagara Rapids Summit [25-21, 28-26].
Then, in the gold medal game, Chatham defeated South County 16U for the second time [25-16, 25-21], to win the championship.

The 15U Boys Chatham Ballhawks also won gold in Cambridge at the OVA Trillium A Challenge Cup.
The 15U Ballhawks beat the Oakville Thunder and Forest City Blue (London) in pool play.
Chatham continued advancing beating the Waterloo Tigers in the quarterfinals, Sky Volley [25-22, 25-23] in the semi-finals, and taking gold with a 2-0 over the London Sharks [25-17, 26-24].
Team members were Drew Warwick, Carter Pittuck, Colin Fife, Jake Thatcher, Justin Markovic (Coach) Alex Chickowski, Jack Spicer, Turner Lessard, Nolan Haight, Kaden Reid, Tyler Canniff, Radley Vanderveen.
Finally the 16U Girls took silver at the OVA Trillium A Green Challenge Cup in Simcoe.
The Chatham girls defeated the St. Thomas Express [25-23, 25-23] in the semi-finals before eventually falling to the Ancaster Lions [25-17, 21-25, 10-15] in the final.
