Joseph Raaymakers And London Knights Streaking
Chatham’s Joseph Raaymakers is currently in the midst of something special.
Raaymakers and the London Knights won a trio of games over the past weekend, to stretch his undefeated in regulation streak to 20 games.
The Knights, first place in the MidWest Division, played Raaymakers in three consecutive contests within three days and were rewarded with great showings from the netminder. Joseph and the Knights defeated Saginaw 4-1, the league leading Ottawa 67’s 5-3 and downed Kitchener by a final of 5-2.
Raaymakers has now not lost in regulation in 20 straight games. His record over that span is 18-0-1-1. Overall, the tender is 19-3-2-1 while the Knights have improved to 29-6-4-1 through 40 games. The Knights are one point behind the 67’s for first place overall.
Raaymakers started the season in NHL camp with the Columbus Blue Jackets and was assigned to the OHL after an impressive audition.
