Maroons Feel Best Is To Come In 2019
Sitting in third in the GOJHL’s Western Conference as the new year rang in with a 17-8-0-3 record, Chatham Head Coach Kyle Makaric feels his team is poised for a big 2019.
“As the calendar flips to 2019 we expect that the best is yet to come for this group. We have a ton of games in January and look to use this time to solidify our place in the standings and the way that we want to play for the rest of the season,” Makaric said.
That 2019 schedule begins with a clash against the first place London Nationals January 2 on the road.
Makaric feels his roster is ready for the challenge.
“The guys have been getting better all the time and putting in the work on their game. Looking forward to the game against London. It will be a big test for both teams coming out of the break and looking to establish a positive trend as the season nears its conclusion.”
Chatham trails Leamington by only one point for second spot.
