Local hockey player Ross Krieger has committed to play OUA hockey next season for the University of Toronto Varsity Blues.

The Pain Court product currently stars for the OJHL’s North York Rangers, where he has 35-points in 38 games this season.

“I’m very excited to have committed to the University Of Toronto,” Krieger, who will study business said of his choice of schools. “I chose the school because the education is the best in Canada, and the coaches and everyone there really seemed like a good fit for me.”

Krieger, a Chatham-Kent Cyclones, Dresden Kings, and Chatham Maroons alumni, is in his third season of Junior A hockey in the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL).

He is a former Junior C rookie of the year, and was a GOJHL All-Rookie team member in his only season of Junior B.
