Ballhawks Win Pair Of Medals
Chatham Ballhawks 16U blue win silver – Contributed Photo
The 16U Blue team took silver at the McGregor Cup Trillium White in Kitchener. The Chatham Ballhawks went 8-3 overall and 4-1 in matches losing in the finals to the #1 seeded FC Blue (London).
Chatham was 4-1 in Pool Play before beating Guelph 25-15, 25-19 in the quarterfinals, and Sarnia Twin Bridges 25-19, 25-20 in the semis before falling 19-25, 23-25 to FC Blue in the final.

Chatham’s 16U White team won Bronze at the McGregor Cup Trillium Green in Chatham, hosted at UCC.
Overall the team was 4-1 in match play. The Ballhawks beat Stratford 25-18, 25-21 in the quarterfinals, and were edged by LVC 17-25, 25-20, 5-15 in the semis. In the bronze medal match, Chatham bounced back to beat London Hammerhead Sharks 19-25, 25-17, 15-9 to take home a medal.
