Kings Shutout Blades In Game One

The Dresden Kings put in a masterful performance in game one of their opening round PJHL Stobbs Division playoff series against the rival Blenheim Blades.

The Kings outshot Blenheim 47-20 en route to a 3-0 victory.

Brett Brochu took the shutout in net.

Greg Hay scored a goal and an assist for Dresden, while Cory Lucier and Dawson Winchester had the other goals, and Brendan Ritchie chipped in with two assists.

Chris Dewulf stopped 44 shots in a losing effort for the Blades.

The series now heads to Blenheim Thursday at 7pm for game two, before returning to Dresden Friday for a 7:30pm puck drop.
